After your story has been accepted and put up on the site, you can mark it as complete by logging into your account and selecting the option to "Edit/Delete Stories." You will then be taken to a listing of all of your validated works and you can edit them accordingly. To mark something complete, simply check the checkbox after "Complete" You can also change this on submission or edit.

  11. My first submission was rejected. Does that mean you won't archive any of my work?
No, not at all. You will always be informed of why your work was rejected, oftentimes it will have to do with some editing due to the nature of RPG stories against what can be hosted here that won't get the site yanked.

  12. Do you offer a beta-reading service?
Yes and No. Chelle will be happy to read a work and give her thoughts on it if asked. There is an option to designate yourself willing to beta-read such that authors can contact you and ask will you read their work and offer up constructive criticisms and their thoughts. Soon the site will be able to show you a listing of beta readers rather checking each profile.

  13. Questions about the Archive:

  14. Do I have to register for an account if I just want to read the stories?
Yes. We require that you register to read the works here due to the fact that a majority of these stories are not appropriate reading material for a younger audience. This is to protect the site as well as any that happen upon it and are not of age for the works hosted here. Which is why authors are asked to rate their work accordingly and choose all applicable warnings. Please note that Obsidian Accord is not liable if registered users falsify the age consent statement in their profiles, falsely state they are over 13 years of age during registration or a work hosted does not have all the applicable warnings and is rated incorrectly. Although site administrators try their best to ensure each one is, the reality of it all is some may not have all the applicable warnings and/or is rated correctly.

  15. What are the advantages to registering for the archive if I don't want to submit anything?
Your registration not only gives you access to the Archive, but to the gaming board and the gallery [where you can host your avatars, or the base pics you use to create them]. You can set stories and authors as favorites, and receive email notifications when they are updated.

  17. Why do I have to wait on a confirmation email before I can log in?
